mondays. there are few reasons i despise them. first is the fact that my blasted alarm clock has to be set and goes off at 6:15. i hate you alarm clock. second is, i feel tired like literally like a board smacked me out until like 11am, since i have this issue i also have the amazing talent of being able to fall asleep at my desk. yes. i can do that. and have multiple times and have awoken myself because i click my mouse and i hear the click. cursed. lastly it seems that mondays are the longest workday of the week next to fridays. why oh why.
today was just like any other monday. i woke up, exhausted with dark circled eyes. my eyes also decided that today they would just not focus regardless of how many times i have blinked my eyes. i am pretty sure i looked mentally damaged or something blinking about a million and a half times today. i dragged myself to work, sat through our morning meeting and proceeded to listen to the photo guy tell me about how stressed he was and he wanted help. so i clear my to do list and in a hurry to help him out and wouldn't you know it, he doesn't need me until 4:20. yes i sat from 8:45- 4:20 and did nothing but little things to try and keep myself free for him. pain. i was bored and tired, not a good combo.
5 couldn't come fast enough. i felt like i was reliving friday with no excitement from knowing it was the weekend. i know this week will be crazy, full of appointments and late night things for the whole week. i think i might just be dragging myself around by the collar for the next 5 days. after work i went home and collapsed on the couch to take a mini rest my eyes nap before we had a date with a few friends.
my mini nap was so short, or though it felt and before i knew it it was time to go. we had dinner at a restaurant here in utah county called Malawi's. They have good fresh foods, pasta and pizza that is made on the spot. i also like them because they have a good mission. for every meal purchased they donate a meal to kids living in Malawi Africa. who can turn down feeding african children and great food? i ordered mac and cheese, i have been on a kick lately, partially cause i was allergic to most other ingredients in the pizzas. it was safe. we spent time catching up, so great and then they came and met the puppy. they are thinking about getting a little one of their own.

i didn't have time to squeeze in a workout today, but good thing tomorrow is trainer day and i can get my butt kicked right? i do have a new goal to try and make it to the gym 4 days a week and run sprints on either friday or saturday. we will see how that goes, so far i am 0/4. but there is still the rest of the week.
